音樂噴泉是通過千變萬化的噴泉造型,結合五顏六色的彩光照明,來反映音樂的內涵及音樂的主題,一座好的音樂噴泉,水形的變化應該能夠充分地表現樂曲。是在程序控制噴泉的基礎上加入了音樂控制系統,計算機通過對音頻及MIDI 信號的識別,進行譯碼和編碼,最終將信號輸出到控制系統,使噴泉的造型及燈光的變化與音樂保持同步,從而達到噴泉水型、燈光及色彩的變化與音樂情緒的完美結合,使噴泉表演更加生動更加富有內涵及體現水的藝術。
音樂噴泉可以根據音樂的高低起伏變化。用戶可以在編輯界面編寫自己喜愛的音樂程序。播放系統可以實現音樂、水、燈光氣氛統一,播放同步。
根據播放的音樂來控制水柱,達到與音樂同步的效果,而水柱是由水泵來控制的,而水泵是由三相異步電動機組成的,三相異步電動機的轉速如果通入工頻電源,轉速是不變化的,變頻器是專門針對電機調速的裝置。
